The first contact with jewelry …

“I was introduced to the world of jewellryatthe age of 13. It has been a life-changing experience, since many of my relatives were involved in jewellrycraftsmanship and merchandising. I was lucky enough to start the profession of jewellry making in such a young age, close to one of my relatives, who was –to my benefit-not only a great craftsman but also an artist. In the meantime I continued my studies.

I was born in Athens (Greece) in 1965. All these years, I spent my time working on all the classical techniques of handmade jewellry. I soon realized my inclination to these techniques and to design. In those times we only made golden jewellry; silver had not yet conquered the glamour and place it now has as a metal for fine jewellry.

In 1993 I started my own firm in Athens and since then I participate in exhibitions in Greece and many foreign countries. In the beginning of 2011, while I searched for a meaningful change in my life, I moved my firm to the beautiful environment of the city of Chania, onthe island of Crete (Greece)”
